Full Height Turnstile
A full-height turnstile is a floor-to-ceiling perimeter security solution designed to provide a completely impenetrable physical barrier that prevents unauthorized individuals from climbing over or crawling under the gate. Modern units are fully compatible with advanced access control technologies, including RFID card readers, biometric scanners (facial recognition/fingerprint), and QR codes, and often feature “fail-safe” or “fail-secure” modes to ensure emergency egress or restricted access during power failures.
Typically standing approximately 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall, these heavy-duty rotating gates operate similarly to a revolving door but allow only one person to pass per valid authorization, effectively eliminating high-security risks like tailgating and piggybacking. Constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials such as 304 or 316 stainless steel, they are ideal for unsupervised outdoor environments like military bases, prisons, industrial sites, and stadiums.
